High School Biology is a two-semester, virtual, and lab-based course which integrates the fundamentals of biology with intelligent design concepts and topics where applicable. As a “virtual” course, students will participate remotely in the course using their own personal computer. Students in the synchronous Tier 1 version of the course will meet once a week via scheduled virtual class sessions to connect and engage with their instructor and peers and to progress through each unit of the course together. Outside of these scheduled class virtual sessions, students will work independently as they review content and complete assignments. NOTE: To register for this course, you need to register and pay tuition here at DiscoveryU—but you ALSO must read the information and register at Discovery Institute Academy. When paying tuition, please use the same student name and student email you supplied on the registration form (NOT the parent name and email). Space is limited, so register early!
